A guide to our rooms
Grisedale Pike has a standard double bed 4'6" and en-suite shower room. Maiden Moor has a standard double 4'6" with en-suite bath and shower. Causey Pike has either a superking or twin beds with en-suite shower room. Catbells has a superking bed and en-suite bath and shower. Amboth has a superking or twin beds with en-suite bath and shower.
Catbells and Amboth are new rooms recently converted from the barn attached to the farmhouse.

General information
All the rooms face out towards Derwentwater and the fells beyond that Catbells and Maiden Moor and behind them Causey Pike and Grisedale Pike. All rooms have large windows to the front of the house except Amboth which only has a Mullion (thin long glazed window) to the front and a large window at the back looking up the Amboth range of fells which rise up behind the farm house (this was because of planning issues). From the front and to the North you can see Bassenthwaite lake and the Skiddaw fells sitting above the market town of Keswick.
All the rooms have central heating, are fully carpeted,divan beds,wardrobes and chest of drawers, bedside tables, bedside lamps, tea and coffee facilities, towels, hairdryers and complimentary basket of toiletries. The bedding is Egyptian cotton with duvets, the bedspreads are from The Country bedroom in Keswick.
The whole property is fitted with a full fire alarm and aqua mist sprinkler system.
The lounge which faces NW is fitted with a wood burner, which we put in the old fireplace after opening it up in the spring of 2005 and lit during the cooler months, the room is full of character and charm with original oak beams forming the open ceiling, comfy seating. Television and information on what's on and places to visit locally during your stay is available.
Since increasing the guest rooms in 2005 we made a separate dining room which has been very popular it has indivual tables for guests and we can join tables to accommodate larger groups.
Breakfast
All of our breakfast is Aga-cooked. We can cater for vegetarian and gluten free diets if told in advance and are happy to discuss others. We prefer to use our own or locally produced ingredients where possible especially our Cumberland sausage, free range eggs and Cumbrian bacon. Packed lunches are also available on request.

| Prices are based on 2 people sharing and are per person per night. We let Grisedale Pike as a single occupancy at £10 extra per night. Children under 10 yrs are ½ price and 10 - 13yrs are ¾ of adult price. Cots are available at £5 per night. We have an additional aerobed which can also be used in Causey Pike and Amboth charged at £14 for under 14 years and £20 for adults per night. | ||
